Warning and Safety Information for the KnifeMore

This product is intended for use only by adults with knowledge and experience in handling sharp cutting tools. Improper use of the knife can result in serious injuries. The blade is extremely sharp and can easily cut through skin and tissue; therefore, extra caution should always be exercised while cutting, and hands should be kept away from the cutting edge. To prevent the knife from slipping, it is recommended to cut on a stable, non-slip surface and avoid excessive force, which may cause uncontrolled blade movement.

Leaving the knife on the edge of a table, countertop, or in easily accessible places—especially where children are present—poses a significant safety risk. The knife should always be properly secured after use, ideally by placing it on a stable surface or storing it in designated knife blocks, protective sheaths, or magnetic strips. The knife should never be used for tasks it is not designed for, such as opening cans or prying objects, as this can damage the tool and lead to dangerous accidents.

A dull blade increases the risk of injury, as it requires more force and is more likely to slip from the material being cut. Therefore, it is essential to sharpen the knife regularly to maintain optimal sharpness. Additionally, proper cleaning and drying of the knife are necessary to prevent corrosion and bacterial growth. Periodic inspection of the handle and blade is recommended to check for cracks, chips, or looseness. If any damage is detected, the knife should be repaired or replaced immediately.

When using the knife, focus solely on the task at hand—avoid talking on the phone, watching television, or other distractions while cutting. Ensure proper lighting in the workspace for better visibility and control. Please note that some countries or regions have laws restricting the ownership and carrying of knives. Before purchasing or using this knife, verify that its use is legal in your location according to applicable regulations.

Following these safety guidelines will help ensure safe and effective knife use, minimizing the risk of accidents and extending the lifespan of the tool.

Wet Nellie Two Tone Gray, Satin is an example of how technical precision can go hand in hand with avant-garde aesthetics. Created by Gregory “Kombou” Grabarski, it combines futuristic lines with thoughtful ergonomics, offering a unique experience both visually and in use. The design uses advanced materials and high-end mechanical details, while maintaining a refined, elegant character. Interestingly, the inspiration for this model came from the iconic Lotus Esprit from the James Bond film “The Spy Who Loved Me,” fondly called “Wet Nellie” by the film crew. The centerpiece is a Blade made of modern CPM MagnaCut powder steel, valued for its sharpness retention, abrasion resistance and full corrosion resistance - even in wet or marine environments. The dynamic profile and aggressive blade geometry allow precise, confident cuts in a variety of conditions. The titanium Handle is distinguished by refined milling, which gives a modern look and improves grip. The frame-lock design with hardened locking inlay ensures rigidity and safety in use. Ball bearing precision and flipper allow the blade to be opened effortlessly, while the titanium deep carry clip guarantees convenient and discreet carrying of the knife. Wet Nellie is a folder that perfectly meets the expectations of collectors and users looking for a premium tool, which is at the same time an expression of modern design and technical excellence.

Grzegorz “Kombou” Grabarski - Polish graphic designer, photographer and talented designer, the main creator of knife designs at Bestech Knives. Known for his unconventional ideas, breaking the stereotypes of knife design. A long collaboration with Bestech has resulted in exquisitely crafted knives made of the best materials, with a unique look.

CPM MagnaCut - powder stainless steel produced by the Crucible® Particle Metallurgy (CPM) process hardened to 60.5-62.5 HRC. The high content of vanadium 4.0% (V), molybdenum 2.0% (Mo) and niobium 2.0% (Nb) guarantees accuracy and purity unmatched by more “conventional” steels. Designed and developed specifically for blade production by Larrin Thomas, it meets all the requirements of knife enthusiasts. With CPM MagnaCut succeeded in creating a steel that combines the unique properties of knife steels like no other. The result is a blade material that offers a remarkable balance of wear resistance, strength and corrosion resistance. There is no other steel on the world market today that offers a comparable combination of superior properties. This exceptional steel is produced at Crucible® Industries' U.S. steel mills.

Blade - made of MagnaCut powder steel combines high hardness with excellent corrosion resistance and sharpness retention, providing one of the most advanced solutions in utility knives. The drop point profile with dynamic, technical lines facilitates precise cutting and blade control. The satin finish gives the wedge an elegant look and protects it from the marks of use. Thanks to the flipper and Ball bearing, opening is instant, intuitive and resistance-free, which makes the blade work harmoniously with the entire knife design.

Handle - made of titanium is a combination of elegance, strength and modern design. The milling not only creates a consistent aesthetic, but also improves ergonomics and grip in any working position. Titanium grips offer low weight, high rigidity and resistance to mechanical damage. The button frame lock mechanism with steel inlay provides stability and security during heavy use. The deep-carry clip allows for deep, discreet carrying of the folder, and the precise chamfers, backspacer and fit of the components reflect the highest level of workmanship typical of the Bestech brand and Kombou aesthetics.
