Templar Seal Ring Ø20 (16226-20) is a symbolic signet ring inspired by the oldest seal of the Order of the Poor Knights of Christ and the Temple of Solomon, known as the Knights Templar. The central motif is the image of two knights riding a single horse - a scene read as an allegory of monastic modesty, community and spiritual brotherhood. This iconography has gone down in history as a sign of unconditional devotion to the idea and mission carried by the Templar community.
Running around the composition is the Latin inscription “Sigillum Militum Xpisti ” - “Seal of the Knights of Christ”, reproduced in stylized Gothic typeface. The contrast between the dark background and the silver relief allows the details to be clearly exposed and reinforces the ceremonial character of the signet ring.
